Can Light Installation
When a customer requests lighting solutions for their home, can lighting is currently the most popular option. Cans are basically round slim/flush luminaires which range from 8” all the way down to 3” in diameter.
There are a number of customizations with trims, gimbals, and much more. Installation usually varies depending on quantity and which town someone resides in as installation materials vary based on the code amendments in each town in IL.
Benefits of Using Recessed Lighting
2. Recessed lighting also casts light on the wall you want to highlight for other design reasons. Recessed lighting is good if you want to light up a bookshelf, or even a shelf of your favorite collectibles.
3. There are also other benefits of recessed lighting. The can lights comes in all kinds of colors (trim and lighting) so they can be used to really upgrade a room in several ways. The casing for recessed lights also protects it from dust, and any accidents, so it’s also a safer lighting option than hanging lights.
Maintenance and Repair
Installed properly, recessed can lights rarely need maintenance. With new LED-style lightbulbs, you may never need to touch these fixtures at all.
Periodically however, you may want to clean away dust and grime from the reflector compartment to improve the downward illumination.
